Newsday's All-Long Island boys tennis team 2015

Meet the athletes who made it onto Newsday's All-Long Island boys tennis team for the 2015 spring season.

The Long Island player of the year was Long Island's first state finalist since Josh Levine of Cold Spring Harbor won back-to-back titles in 2011 and 2012. Solomon finished the season with a record of 23-1.

"He played a much more confident game this year," Plainview JFK coach Nick Ventimiglia said. "He battled through all his matches at the state tournament and built momentum. Every time he takes the court he gets better."

The Davis twins won their second consecutive county

The Davis twins won their second consecutive county championship and had their strongest showing at the state tournament, finishing third after falling in the semifinals to Hope and Courage Crawford of Mamaroneck, 6-3, 6-4. They'll continue their tennis careers at Bates College in the fall.

The Davis twins won their second consecutive county

The Davis twins won their second consecutive county championship and had their strongest showing at the state tournament, finishing third after falling in the semifinals to Hope and Courage Crawford of Mamaroneck, 6-3, 6-4. They'll continue their tennis careers at Bates College in the fall.

Nassau champions Dylan Granat and Daniel Shleimovich came together in the postseason after playing singles during the year. The duo advanced to the quarterfinals of the state tournament and helped the Braves capture the Nassau team title over Cold Spring Harbor.

Kuhnle broke through in his fifth Suffolk singles

Kuhnle broke through in his fifth Suffolk singles tournament, knocking off Bayport-Blue Point's Stephen Gruppuso 6-4, 6-0. He made a run to the quarterfinals of the state tournament before falling to eventual champion Matt Gamble, 6-4, 6-2.
