Comsewogue 30, Lindenhurst 27: Paul Young pinned Joe Napoleon in 1:27 at 135 pounds to lead Comsewogue in the final of the Bear Brohard Tournament at Stony Brook. It was Young's fourth win of the day.
Jericho 39, Cold Spring Harbor 27: Jericho's Joe Chamish pinned Nick Carlisi in 2:57 at 160 pounds to help secure the victory in the Battle at the Harbor Tournament at Cold Spring Harbor. Barrington Mitchell was named team MVP.
McCabe wins honors. James McCabe of Connetquot pinned Rocky Point's Dkqwan Johnson in 2:59 at 119 pounds and was named most outstanding wrestler in the North Fork Tournament hosted by Mattituck. Thomas Dutton from Rocky Point pinned Nick Pesko in 1:02 at 103 pounds and was champion of champions.
Wade wins at Islip. Islip's Kyle Wade won by decision, 5-3, over Rich Lugo of Deer Park at 152 pounds and was named most outstanding wrestler in the Kris McDonald Islip Cup tournament. Brentwood's Eric Orellana won by decision over Central Islip's Alan Gomez, 6-3, at 103 pounds and he was named champion of champions. Andrew Jones from Plainedge had the most pins in the least time, pinning three opponents in 7:51 at 160 pounds.
Long Beach 54, Bethpage 18: Long Beach's Dequan Simmons pinned Jermaine John at 171 pounds in 5:08 at the East Meadow Duals.
East Meadow 33, Long Beach 32: Steven Rispoli won a 6-5 decision over Edisson Tigre at 135 pounds to seal the win at the East Meadow Duals.
East Meadow 52, Sewanhaka East 19: Nick Falco had a 10-0 win over Christian Dluginski at 119 pounds in the East Meadow Duals.
Comsewogue 30, Eastport-South Manor 25: Ryan Brunet pinned Jared Usher in 1:30 at 171 pounds to lead Comsewogue in the semifinal of the Bear Brohard Tournament at Stony Brook.
