Mineola advanced seven wrestlers to finals after day-long preliminary rounds Saturday at the individual tournament at Cold Spring Harbor.
Oyster Bay, Valley Stream North and Cold Spring Harbor each had six grapplers make the championship rounds.
Those three teams dominated in a meet that was devoid of big upsets.
"No real surprises," Cold Spring Harbor coach Michael Ferrugiari said. "Everybody that's supposed to see each other in a final is seeing each other in the final."
Among the most anticipated of those finals are at 112 and 119 pounds. The 112-pound bout pits Mineola's Nick Grimaldi against McKinley Mohrman of Cold Spring Harbor. At 119, Cold Spring Harbor's Zach Perrone takes on Jesse Oppenheimer of Valley Stream North.
"Those should be good. Zach and McKinley are both wrestling two tough kids," Ferrugiari said.
Perrone won by decision, 6-0, over Valley Stream North's Shane Saltzman to advance. Mohrman won by an 8-0 major decision over Oyster Bay's Ryan Arnel to move on to his final.
The championship matches begin at 3:30 p.m.
Third- and fourth-place bouts will begin at 9 a.m. at Hofstra, which is also the site of the Nassau Division I tournament.
