The Islanders GM is ranked ninth in the magazine's Top 10 General Managers list.
It's technically "The NHL's Best GMs For The Buck," and since the Isles spend very few bucks -- and, also according to a recent Forbes list that's a little easier to understand, the Isles take in very few bucks -- Snow does deserve some credit for finding a few gems.
Of course, Forbes' stance that "Snow has churned out respectable teams in three of his four years at the helm" might be a) inaccurate, and b) irrelevant. If you check out the entire list, Forbes seems to be valuing frugality over quality, which doesn't win much -- there's no universe where Ken Holland, the best GM in the game, deserves to be behind Nashville's David Poile.
But hey -- at least the Islanders are a top-10 team in something.
