Day with Islanders ‘dream come true’ for LI boy

Brandon Bloom, 8, of South Setauket, was diagnosed with Stage 4 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in April 2016, and has been undergoing chemotherapy. On Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017, he became an Islander for a day and got to practice with players and coaches at the Islanders' practice facility in East Meadow, thanks to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Random Acts of Light program.
