Discipline not expected until tonight

Any sort of supplementary discipline resulting from last night's fight fest will likely not be levied until tonight, according to one source.

Additionally, it is believed that the incidents currently under review are: Matt Martin ambushing Max Talbot, Trevor Gillies elbow on Eric Tangradi and Eric Godard jumping on the bench.

Leaving the bench like Godard did constitutes an automatic ten-game suspension, but the other two incidents would involve much more discretion.

Conspicuously absent from that list is Micheal Haley's role in the fracas-filled match.

At this point, it appears he may escape with only the instigator penalty and the two game misconducts he received for his first (vs. Talbot) and secondary (Johnson) fights during the game.

The Islanders, who board a team charter for Buffalo at 2 p.m. today, have not made any roster moves to call up any players from Bridgeport in anticipation for tomorrow's matinee against the Sabres
