Dwayne Roloson gets the start tonight. Fellow netminders Rick DiPietro and Martin Biron split time in the other net during the morning skate.

Looks like Nate Thompson (shoulder) will rejoin the lineup and they'll keep Sean Bergenheim (rib) out for at least another game.

"Right now we have two guys on IR. We can't take both off to play them, given that I don't want to take Andrew MacDonald out of the lineup---he's only  really the only guy we could move and have it help our situation."

DiPietro will not play tonight. When asked, Scott Gordon said he did have a plan in mind for DiPietro's return but wanted to discuss it with him first.

Wanted to mention a couple of things Scott Gordon mentioned the other day that I didn't get the chance to include.

When asked if Roloson was the mid-season MVP, Gordon said he was a good candidate, but also considered Kyle Okposo and Andy Sutton as well.

On the latter, Gordon said:

"He's certainly played at a level, that at the beginning of the year, we didn't know he was capable of. He's been a top guy, a shutdown guy."

Gordon also had nothing but good things to say the past couple days about Josh Bailey's transition to left wing.

"You don't know how a guy is going to respond. With Josh, he's got more stop and start ability in his game. He doesn't look out of place along the walls. He skates well enough to get going and last year I couldn't say that because he had a hard time getting the engine going. Now he goes instinctively."

"He's obviously shooting the puck more. His ability to shoot the puck is "sneaky-good". I don't think people how good it is and now he's finding places to make plays."
