I know this is out of leftfield, what with the Isles' situation right now. But before I forget, I just want to mention what I heard from one of the Penguins people yesterday. The Islanders game in Pittsburgh April 8 will be the formal closing of the Igloo, the Penguins vintage 1961 arena. Of course, they'll have playoff games there, but the ceremony will be April 8. Sixty inflential Penguins will be back, including Andy Bathgate and Bryan Trottier.
Again, not that it means much for the Islanders or to their fans. But for anyone who loves hockey and hockey history, it should be cool.
