Nabokov gets start vs. Penguins tonight

Jack Capuano said the goaltending Evgeni Nabokov and Al Montoya has "been one of our strengths so far," and Nabokov's solid outing in Sunrise on Saturday -- 28 saves despite the 4-2 loss -- gets him the start tonight against the Penguins.

Rick DiPietro, who hasn't dressed since suffering a concussion 13 days ago, will back up tonight.

D Milan Jurcina (groin), RW Nino Niederreiter (groin) and Trevor Gillies skated this morning, so Gillies will be the healthy scratch tonight.

Jurcina did practice fully on Monday, so he may be ready to return later in the week.

Capuano said Niederreiter could be back skating in practice by next week, meaning he could be ready to come off IR by the time the Isles head out on a three-game road trip in two weeks.
