Islanders vs. Blues

The Islanders fell in a shootout, 4-3, to the St. Louis Blues on Saturday at Nassau Coliseum. Thomas Vanek had scored what appeared to be the winning goal in overtime off his skate, but it was ruled no goal because the referees said they saw a "distinct kicking motion".
