OHL defenseman Jamie Doornbosch arrives; Jack Hillen (shoulder) unlikely

It appears the Islanders will sign OHL defenseman Jamie Doornbosch to an NHL ATO at some point today, since he just arrived at the Coliseum in time for the team's morning skate. With the 21-year-old defenseman up, Jack Hillen (shoulder) seems unlikely to play against the Penguins.

The Richmond Hill, Ontario native has 19 goals, 29 assists in 68 games for the Kitchener Rangers this season.

No official word from the Islanders yet, but expect him to make his NHL debut tonight.

Hillen skated on his own in full gear before the team's morning skate.

Sidney Crosby (concussion) did make the trip with the Penguins. Just saw him walking through with ex-Islander Mike Comrie.
