- Dwayne Roloson will make his second straight start tonight; he made 30 saves against Montreal on Wednesday.
-After being a healthy scratch the first nine games this season, Bruno Gervais returns to the lineup tonight...as a forward.
That's right..Gervais took line rushes with center Zenon Konopka and winger Jon Sim and coach Scott Gordon confirmed Gervais will indeed play forward tonight.
Last time Gervais played that position?
Back when he was 12 years old, his peewee team had a double-header. After playing the afternoon game in their regular positions, their coach took the team to McDonald's, loaded their Gatorade bottles with soda for hte evening game and told the kids to pick where they wanted to play.
"That was my first and last game as a forward," Gervais said after this morning's skate.
Gervais admitted he was a little nervous about the reading/reacting he'll need to do tonight, but is grateful to get back into a game.
"It's really exciting. I've been waiting for this a long time."
--Trent Hunter (foot) will play tonight, so I'm guessing that Trevor Gillies is the odd man out.
Lines should look like this:
**Alex Auld gets his first start of the season tonight and the Canadiens have also apparently decided to wait on bringing back Andrei Markov
