Isles 1, Devils 7. Final
Matt Moulson spoils Marty Brodeur's shutout and inched closer to goal No. 30 on the season, but beyond that there was barely anything positive about this game.
The Devils piled on with two more goals in the third--one from Ilya Kovalchuk, the other from Patrik Elias--and the Islanders lost their second straight.
They've now given up 14 goals in the past two games.
Also, Sean Bergenheim, who played only two shifts in the second period, did not return to the game after suffering an upper-body injury. He's not expected to play tomorrow.

And things don't look much better for the Islanders through two periods, after they surrender a pair in the middle frame to face a five-goal deficit.
Islanders have already dropped both games previously played against the Devils at the Rock this year. Looks like they will drop a third tonight.

Not a good start for the Islanders, who did very little in the offensive end and gave up too many chances in their own end.
