After nine days off for the Olympic break, the Islanders are back on the ice at the Coliseum.
There are, of course, a few notables missing.
Head coach Scott Gordon and defenseman Mark Streit are one hour removed from the USA-Swiss quarterfinal game at 3 p.m.
Dustin Kohn, Matt Martin and Jesse Joensuu are also not here; instead they'll remain with Bridgeport for a while longer.
Let's talk about who is at practice today:
Both Jack Hillen and Tim Jackman are back (with protective chin guards affixed to their helemts) after suffering significant facial injuries.
Jackman suffered a broken orbital after getting socked in the face by Ottawa's Matt Carkner December 31 and Hillen had to undergo surgery to repair a broken jaw and damaged teeth after taking an Alex Ovechkin slapshot to the face January 26.
Josh Bailey is also back after missing six games with an upper body injury.
