TSN's Bob McKenzie just reported via Twitter that Leafs defenseman Tomas Kaberle has been asked to waive his no-trade clause for a trade to the Bruins.

Toronto will apparently receive Boston's first-round pick and center Joe Colborne, an AHL prospect,

So Kaberle is off the market. The Bruins would have to make a corresponding move or two to create salary-cap space, especially if Blake Wheeler isn't going to the Leafs in the deal. Mark Stuart was scratched from Boston's win over the Isles last night; he's been rumored to be going to the Hawks for a draft pick.

Carolina D Ian White was scratched from the Canes' loss to the Devils on Wednesday; he could be moving today, possibly to a Western Conference team.

Through all this, the Rangers are not involved. Kaberle's price was too high and White, according to sources, hasn't been on their radar.

But Bryan McCabe returns to action tonight for the Panthers. He's on the Rangers' radar.
