Live from Philly: Stepan on the wing, Dale Weise in, Lundqvist in goal

John Tortorella said he'd start the game with Derek Stepan, his most talented center, on the left side with Erik Christensen and Marian Gaborik. Ruslan Fedotenko goes back to the left side of Brian Boyle and Brandon Prust, Alex Frolov goes to the right side with Brandon Dubinsky and Artem Anisimov and Chris Drury centers Sean Avery and Dale Weise, who'll be making his season debut.

Tortorella said Stepan "feels comfortable on either wing. I don't want to take his creativity in the middle away, but I like Christensen more at center." It seems doubtful that lines will stay that way, given the potential for a game to get out of hand, as so often does here at the Wells Fargo Center.

Oskars Bartulis goes in on D for the Flyers in place of Chris Pronger. In goal, it's Henrik Lundqvist vs. Brian Boucher. Flyers wearing their home creamsicle.

Oh, and a late officiating change: Don Van Massenhoven will be working this game. Ranger fans with long memories, take note. Things get a little funky when he works a Ranger game.
