More before the frenzy -- Wisniewski to CBJ, Jagr to... ?

Former Isles D James Wisniewski signed a six-year, $27-million deal with the Blue Jackets, who in turn are letting serviceable D Jan Hejda walk. Isles and Rangers could be in on him down the line this weekend, especially with Sami Salo (one year, $2-million) staying in Vancouver.

Wisniewski gets $9-mil up front, with a $5.5-million cap hit. The Jackets seem to be in "make playoffs now" mode with Wisniewski and the Jeff Carter trade, but are they good enough to compete year after year with this group? Doubtful.

The Jaromir Jagr saga continues! The Penguins have revoked their one-year, $2-million-ish offer to the feet-dragging Jags, whose agent now says more teams are in the mix. TSN's Darren Dreger says the Flyers might be interested. Laviolette and Jagr does not sound like a great match.

The whole thing kicks off in 15. Check back for updates.
