A little more on the untraded Richards and the schedule

Well, it seems like the Rangers and Leafs will be the two big-market dogs tossing bones and money toward Brad Richards. Toronto, to me, not as close to being a contender as the Rangers, especially with the Flyers deals today. Flyers lost a lot of firepower. They're rugged, but jeez, some of the heart is gone...

Anyway, if BRich is all about the frijoles, he'll go north. I believe Burke will offer more than what Slats will wave....

To the shedule, as the Brits say:

First impressions: 10 times Rangers will play three games in four days.....14 back-to-backs, less onerous than last season....The six-game homestand takes a little of the sting out of the Europe/Western Canada journeys....Another away run: 14 days in mid-late November...Notice no trad joined-at-hip Florida-Tampa visits....Reg-season ends vs Caps....Could there be a Richards vs Richards in Stockholm (Kings vs NYR)?...Strange that no Devs games till what, December?...Blueshirts in Coliseum twice early on... If Jaromir Jagr ends up in Detroit, circle the date:  March 21 at MSG....

Busy, busy....Just noticed that Devin Setoguchi re-signed with San Jose and that it appears Ryan Smyth headed to Calgary. This draft day Friday could be a doozy for news. Hang wit me here and on twitter, ya hear?
