Brandon Prust was released from Massachusetts Eye and Ear after having his right pupil examined and was able to fly back with the team to New York.
Greg Campbell's raised stick caught him in the face at 19:30 of trhe second period.
Coach John Tortorella said he thought the winger would be okay, but it was unclear whether Prust would travel with the team, which defeated the Bruins 3-2 to sweep the short road trip. It was uncertain that he would play tomorrow against the Devils.
Prust is questionable for Sunday game at the Garden against the Devils and With only 12 forwards, the Rangers would probably summon a player from Hartford. "We really missed him in the third period," Tortorella said.
