Freak storm, freaky loss; Deveaux recalled

Power on, trees still bending, looks like roads clear, will attempt to crawl to practice at 11

Andre Deveaux, the 6-3, 220 pound C/RW has reportedly been recalled from Hartford to replace Kris Newbury, who was re-assigned after the 5-4 OT loss to Ottawa last night.. Tim Erixon also was reassigned and the question, that I raised last night,  is when or if free agent D Anton Stralman accepts the offer that the NYR made last week. If not, it's possible that Glen Sather has something else up his sleeve. Or else Jeff Woywitka is the sixth D tomorrow against the Sharks at MSG, where the Rangers will have a third try to win a home game.

Deveaux, 27, who's not afraid to drop the gloves (check out his PIMs)  was born in the Bahamas, but grew up in Canada. He played 21 games for the Leafs in 2008-09.
