Evgeny Grachev will play his second NHL game here at ACC, and Henrik Lundqvist is in after his 34 save performance last night. Derek Boogaard's infected finger has healed enough for him to return (no surprise).
"He skated very well, finished his checks," Tortorella said of Grachev. "His last shift he turned it over and it turned into a 2 on 1. He was involved in the forecheck, so we'll give him another chance tonight. It's hard for me to comment on six minutes of ice time,as we said, we want our kids we want to keep developing. I don't think Whitey did anything terrible last night...I want to get Christensen back in at center and get a look at Grach again."
"On our power play, we're looking to get more shots, we're a little too much perimiter. Erik Christensen did a real good job last night and our special teams, we lost some games because of our penalty killing, hopefully we'll be disciplined and not get into that position tonight."
On Sauer sitting for the fourth straight game: "That worries me, I want to get him in, we'll see where it goes."
