Lines, d-pairs from prospect scrimmage before T.C.

Here’s some line combos from this morning's prospect practice before the group departed for the 1st game in Traverse City tomorrow. Lines were jumbled and subs were plentiful, with 14 forwards. U of M’s C/LW Matt Rust, added to the roster yesterday, will meet the team there.

Observations, not new ones, but a revisit: Carl Hagelin can fly. Christian Thomas has hands. Ryan Bourque, who probably will be named captain, will compete hard.

Jason Wilson/Jon Audy-Marchessault/Tommy Grant
Jordan Hickmott/Michael St. Croix/Thomas (double shifted)
Kale Kerbashian/Andrew Yogan/Tayler Jordan

Again, these could very well change….

Coach John Tortorella did not make the trip. GM Glen Sather and assistant GMs Jim Schoenfeld and Jeff Gorton, assistant coach Mike Sullivan, along with top scouts, including Anders Hedberg, were heading north. Mark Messier was arriving tomorrow.
Sather said that Gs Scott Stajcer and Jason Missiaen each will get two starts…He also confirmed that Ceresnak would be playing for Peterborough and coach Mike Pelino this season.
