The “Do Not Disturb” door plastique at my hotel on the harbor reads “Wicked Tired”, but I’m not. Ready to roll...

After all, the weather is surprisingly mild here in Paul Revere’s town, the ferries are running and we expect to see another close Rangers-B’s game this evening, featuring a Henrik Lundqvist-Tuukka Rask matchup at TD Garden….hard to fathom that this is the third and final game between the two teams already! Last time in on Jan. 19, the opener, it was a 3-1 win for the Bs….At MSG on Jan. 23, Marian Gaborik had a hat trick, and now he’s back on right wing, where he played most of his career…Will Brian Boyle be scratched again as the Rangers aim for a third straight win for the first time this season? And I wonder if Torts opts for Stu Bickel on the third d-pair for a little more toughness and sits Matt Gilroy, who played just 40 ticks, one shift, in the third vs. Tampa. That would mean two former Boston collegiate players on the pine the night after the Beanpot final…FYI, Blueshirts are 1-3 on the road.

We’ll find out answers to some of these questions, and have some observations from the coach after the morning skate at 11:30…Bruins skate at 10:30. Stay tuned and remember to follow me on Twitter @stevezipay

Here’s my colleague John Jeansonne’s piece today on the fourth-liners,

Walked to North End last night for dinner, homemade pasta of course. A little tricky to navigate the streets in one of my favorite nabes in winter (too touristy in summer, but have fought through it in the past and would again for fish at The Daily Catch); far emptier last night, with parked cars completely blocked in by chest-high snow, paths tunneled on some sidewalks. Hit at least one dead end and had to backtrack…
