Live from L.A.: Rangers take big D Dylan McIlrath at 10 (Updates)

All the execs have settled back in their chairs.....Rangers, if they stay at 10, should be selecting No. 10 at about 8:15 ET...We'll keep track and comment one through then right here and on twitter....Isles could move down and throw wrench in some plans for teams below them.....

Taylor Hall goes to Oilers at No. 1, as most expected....And Tyler Seguin, despite rumors of Bs attempting to trade pick, is taken No. 2... Wise move by Bruins. May be a better fit for them down the road...6-4 D Erik Gudbranson is heading to Florida as third overall pick...Center Ryan Johansen, of the Portland Winterhawks, is a Blue Jacket.  Solid player, thought he might drop a bit... Now 2 top D left if Isles choose to go that way...Isles shun Fowler and Gormley for talented Swiss RW Nino Neidereitter...No hesitation on part of Tampa before selecting Brett Connolly. Guess they are assured hip problems are behind him...Three picks to go before NYR....Jeff Skinner, who scored 50 goals last season in Kitchener and 20 in the playoffs, is headed to Carolina at 7...Thrash up next...they have a lot of D, wonder if they'll take a chance on a forward. Or G Jack Campbell?...And it Alex Burmistrov, the fleet Russian who played in the OHL....WIld may be trading here....You'd think if Rangers want Tarasenko, he'll be available...Finn Mikael Granlundis No. 8 to Minny, Rangers on clock....Shocker. Guess NYR weren't sure on Tarasenko, and go for McIlrath of Moose Jaw, who was projected to go way lower.
