A flurry of news at ScotiaBank on a day that could end with a trade:

Leading scorer Marian Gaborik, who was injured but played through it during the Olympics, is day to day with what he called a  "lower-body issue" that is preventing him "from pushing off." He said he couldn't help the team. "I cannot really go out there," he said. "It's frustrating but I just have to stay positive. I believe it's going to feel better quickly."

Michael Del Zotto (chest gash) took the morning skate, but was ruled out for tonight against the Senators. He sustained the deep, 50-stitch cut on Feb. 12 from Evgeny Malkin's skate. The stitches were removed Sunday, and he has been working on conditioning. Corey Potter will step in.

Lisin, 23, obtained in last summer's trade with Phoenix for Lauri Korpikoski, hasn't scored since Jan. 19  and was scratched in the final two games before the break and in three of the last six. He earns $790,000. I am told he will be the 12th forward tonight.

Voros, 27, has played just 33 games. He is due $900,000 this season and next. He will not dress.

Henrik Lundqvist is in net for the time since Team Sweden was eliminated in Vancouver.

Plenty more to come, plus quotes from Olympic returnees...
