Martin Biron, not Lundqvist, in net at Bell Centre

The Lundqvist Chronicles in Bell Centre were documented here yesterday, and it's Martin Biron in goal tonight.

I'm a little surprised, especially since Lundqvist is rested and had a maintenance day on Thursday.  Maybe there's a little issue. So the earliest Henrik will play---barring a yank of Biron tonight---is against Florida on Wednesday, which would give him a full week off. Odd, unless there's something slightly amiss.

Biron is 3-0, with an 0.95 GAA this season, and was in the cage in Montreal last Feb. 5 in a 2-0 loss. I was thinking he'd play in Florida, but maybe coach John Tortorella, who has said several times that Biron "settles us down", has determined that is what the team needs in the loud Bell Centre. Lundqvist does have an 3.86 GAA and .877 SP at Bell.

Rest of the lineup the same...

Newsday's John Jeansonne is in Montreal today, pinch-hitting for me, but I'll be watching from home....So stay in touch here and on..
