From what we're told,  Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly and PA special counsel Steve Fehr met at an undisclosed location---not New York---from sometime in the afternoon on Saturday until after midnight.  The pair is expected to review the issues with their fellow negotiators/consituents today, and the sides are expected to meet again next week.

The who, where and when of that session is unclear.

Is this a good sign? Well, it's better than no talks at all, and the idea of limiting media spin indicates that perhaps there is some common ground on some of the many issues involved.

The lockout, essentially over how to split revenues, is entering its eighth week----it began Sept. 15---and 326 games have been cancelled through November, as well as the Jan. 1 Winter Classic, which was scrapped on Friday.
