No update on Steve Eminger, notes, quotes, stats

Coach John Tortorella declined to answer questions about injuries, saying he had no information on Steve Eminger, who played less than four minutes in the third period and none at all after Pahlsson fell on him near the boards.

Ryan Callahan, the first star: "We wanted to make sure we responded after the Chicago game, especially with our start. We spent a lot of time in their end throughout the game." Truth.

...Artem Ansisimov's goal was his fourth in eight games....The Rangers are 19-7-2 at home.....They head to Pittsburgh after practice tomorrow for a Tuesday game...Stepan, who was awarded the Broadway fedora, has two goals and five assists in the last eight games..

Del Zotto, who played a team high 25:14, said this on the winner: "I put it out to Step, it squeezed out to Gabby and he made a great play faking the shot and Mason came all the way out. Step put himself in a great spot and I slid it over to him. Great puck movement."

Rick Nash's line: 17:41, goal, four SOG, two attempts blocked, one miss, five hits, plus 1, 2 PIM. I'd expect talks to continue this week, inlcuding counterproposals from the teams involved, including the Rangers.
