Another postscript to yesterday’s story: Not surprisingly, readers shared their positive experiences with Graves.
Paul Martorano, another season ticket holder, wrote that he had a very complicated cancer case that required a nine-hour surgery. On the eve of it, Graves (having heard about it from an alert ticket department representative) called out of the blue and spoke with Martorano and his wife at length.
Bob Turk, a Ranger fan who is in a wheelchair and has spent his share of time at Rusk Institute, wrote to say how much it meant that Graves just stopped to talk with him and a buddy on Mark Messier’s number retirement night.
Thanks to them for sharing their stories.
