How your New York Rangers play tonight against the Jets, in desperate need of two points in the standings, will tell an awful lot about the remainder of the season---and perhaps provide an indicator of action at Wednesday's trade deadline. The Rangers have about $6 million space under the cap. There's some holes for sure, but as I've said before, doubt Marian Gaborik will be moved before the offseason. Maybe we'll see a minor move or two.
Oh, and can we put aside the Sean Avery nonsense. All this hubbub about a tweet? Please.
The Rangers won't have a morning skate Monday, so we won't know until pregame about line combinations or scratches: Arron Asham, I'm guessing, will dress, with Kris Newbury back in Hartford.
That's all for now, I leave you to your own devices. Enjoy the first afternoon games of the baseball season----and April Fools' Day
