Hello from the Pru Center....
The public address announcer here in Newark just announced Alex Auld as the starting goaltender for the Rangers. Not. He was corrected and Henrik Lundqvist was announced.
Lundqvist has played head-to-head against Martin Brodeur 24 times in the regular season: His record is 16-3-5 with a 1.43 GAA and four shutouts.
It appears that Anisimov-Dubinsky-Callahan-Staal-Rozsival will be the other starters for the Rangers, who are 0-1-2 in the last three. Lisin and Voros, as mentioned this morning, are the scratches. Devs starters are Brodeur-Rolston-Niedermayer-Clarkson-White-Mottau.

Callahan crunched Zubrus at the blue line and then Zubrus retailiated when the puck went across the ice... But the Rangers PP, 29th on the road, didn;'t produce...3:31 left...Bryce Salvador's slapper from the point caroms off Jokinen and slides past Lundqvist, 2-1...
