Aloha from MSG and the first home game of the year---and decade...

G Matt Zaba will back up  Henrik Lundqvist as Chad Johnson will get a start in Hartford tonight against Bridgeport and John Tortorella indicated that Zaba could make his NHL debut this season as well.

"He needs to play... when you're developing your own guys, Zaba had a really good year last year, we've gotta make sure we don't lose our development in playing games. There's gonna be a lot of miles going back and forth with those two guys, we've gone through a whole mapping of the schedule to make sure they both get some games here as we go."

Against Carolina on New Year's Eve, said Torts, Aaron Voros "had a good fight, he didn't play a whole bunch, but it was a team I thought that needed a lot more energy, and AV will bring that, so he deserves to stay in the lineup."
