It's Henrik Lundqvist vs. Tomas Vokoun here at MSG in the final game before the All-Star break and John Tortorella want to see his players staying focused on more night.
"I just don't want us to exhale. I'll be honest with you, this is a team that needs a break. Five games in seven days. It's certainly not an excuse, we've handled ourselves well. We need to handle ourselves for five or six hours and get the result we need before we leave," he said at 5 p.m.
Brodie Dupont and Dan Girardi are out again, but the lines could change. The d-pairs will remain: Staal-Sauer; Gilroy-McDonagh, DelZotto-Eminger. I'll be back with lines from warmups.
Other highlights: Grachev (in first period yesterday) and Del Zotto (on power play) were fine. He'd like to see more offense from Grachev. Del Zotto "stayed within himself, a good step". There will be guys going back down to the A to play next weekend.
Ryan Callahan on target, trainign for for Feb. 1 return vs. Pens....Asked about next injured play to come back, Tortorella said: "Don't count out Dubi." Dubinsky has stress fracture of left fibula.
Chris Higgins, back from injury, will dress for the Panthers...
