First, Happy Father's Day to all those here, gone and the soon-to-be Dads.

You know how you feel. Certainly don't need to meander on about it on social media, which, by its nature, is shallow.

Being a son, and/or parent, is far deeper.

So I'm not spending much time online today, as we turn the page on Torts reform, and move to A.V. Wrote about some things that Vigneault and Co. need to do in the paper and clearly, Glen Sather made the correct choice.

Don't know about you guys and girls, but I really was never totally convinced that it was the right timing for Mess. Go back and read the stuff from a few weeks ago.

Yeah, tough call for Slats, but the logical one. He's the commander at the moment, like it or not, and really, the risk with No. 11 was high on many levels. Could've been a home run if  you're rebuilding.  The Blueshirts are not.

Thanks for reading here, in the paper and following on Twitter. More coming on AV, assistants, free agency, the draft, and what will be an intriguing summer and training camp...
