Stepan ties Canada late but U.S. falls in SO: Horak signs

Derek Stepan tied the score at 3-3 late in the third in Slovakia, but the U.S. lost in a shootout as Jordan Eberle and Rick Nash beat Ty Conklin in a game that Canada dominated. U.S. gets a point, faces France tomorrow.

Roman Horak, the 19-year-old Czech native who scored 26 goals and 78 points in 64 games for Chilliwack of the WHL, signed an entry level deal, the Rangers announced.  Horak was the team's fifth-round pick in 2009 entry draft.
