There's a man working on a boat
Pulling lines from the water just trying to stay afloat...
Filling the nets is getting harder
Far away, they bend the rules secretly
Close their eyes and let it all into the sea
Hoping nobody else will see..

Rangers aren't skating today, but I'm sailing around crossing off things on a laundry list of appointments.

So let's cover some bases quickly:

No callups from Hartford. Too bad. Perhaps Corey Potter would've popped Kaleta in OT. Lundqvist said he was hoping someone would be muscling him. But then again, not sure the head coach would've had Potter out there anyway.

Devs aren't scoring either. Not expecting firewagon hockey at The Rock Wednesday with the Rangers' increased emphasis on grinding. Sounds a lot like the final season of the Tom Renney era.  If you're a Rangers fan, you hope the rest these 48 hours benefits Mr. Gaborik.

After Devs and Thrashers (Friday), NYR play four of five at home, with seven of the last nine on the road....So when does Alex Auld play? Against St. Louis on the 18th? Isles in first of B2B on the 24th? Toronto on the 27th?  Surely one of the Florida B2B road games on April 2, 3....Your guesses please...
