Torts on Wolski, Biron & up soon, the NHL's return to The Peg

Tortorella, asked what he wanted to see from winger Wojtek Wolski, a player whom he had inferred was having an issue recovering from a groin injury, "What I want to see from all our players. I want him to play good defense, I want him to kick in offfesnively, I want him to kick in with the battles. Everything that's going to help us to win."

Biron's start, he said, "has nothing to do with Henrik. Henrik’s fine. We decided this was the game we wanted him to play."

As usual, with his game-day face on, Tortorella could not be coaxed into discussing the Jets, the NHL's return to Winnipeg, or the expected passion from the crowd.

Me, I'm interested in the return to the praires and Neil Young's home town, so I'm putting together a piece based on talking to former Rangers D Jim  "The Chief" Neilson, who played for the Blueshirts from 1962 to 1974 and was here as a guest of the team and his recollections, and the impressions of former Thrashers Andrew Ladd and Zach Bogosian, and coach Claude Noel.

Check for that later....
