U.S. exhibitions, Dubi comparables, recalling Prague, TC

Rangers have made official what we compiled here last week: Sept. 21 vs Devs in Albany; Sept. 23 vs Devs in Newark, and Sept. 26 in Philly vs. Flyers....

Some random, last-season salary numbers to consider as the Dubinsky arb hearing looms tomorrow AM:  Zajac, $4.5 mil; Horton, $4.5 mil; Backes, $4.5 mil, Jordan Staal, $4.5 mil, Umberger, $4.5 mil, Lucic $4.0, Kunitz, $4.0, Franzen, $5.2....Dubi's in that range for a year or two, no?

Was checking back on just before the Rangers went to Prague in 2008. I was fortunate enough to cover the two wins over Tampa in the Czech Republic. I remember Dubinsky scoring the winner in the first game, 2-1. with Markus Naslund scoring the other.....

That season, 65 players attended training camp. Here's the 10 (according to my calcs) who are still in the organization:  Dubi, Lundqvist, Anisimov, Callahan, Staal, Girardi, Weise, Del Zotto, Sauer, Kundratek.  Turnover City.

I reiterate, kudos to MSG for televising four games from Traverse City this September. NHL Network last covered it in 2008, I believe.

Blueshirts were 2-2, fifth place last year, outscoring opponents 16-12 after beating Stars 7-2 in last game. Grachev scored in three of four games, fed by Stepan, I seem to recall. Bourque was on that line. Thomas and McIlrath got their feet wet. Cs Ethan Werek and Roman Horak (traded) won't be among the 20 players going this year. Rangers prospects finished 3rd in 2009.
