Wojtek Wolski, Jeff Woywitka back from AHL

With their two-week conditioning assignments ended, Wojtek Wolski and Jeff Woywitka have been recalled from the Connecticut Whale, according to the AHL website.

Wolski's return means the Rangers have a spare forward to play against the Blackhawks tomorrow at the Garden. Ruslan Fedotenko, who has missed three games since a high hit from Tampa's Dominic Moore last Thursday, did not skate today. Coach John Tortorella said he was not feeling well. Wolski, who had surgery to repair a sports hernia, played just 10 games for the Rangers all season. He was 3-2-5 in six games for the Whale. Two of the goals came in one game.

Woywitka, who hasn't played in the NHL since Dec. 30, joins a seven-man defense corps. He had a bruised bone in his foot and had three assists in six AHL games. Stu Bickel has been playing right wing on the fourth line in Fedotenko's absence, and could be a healthy scratch along with Woywitka.
