Steve Matthews' Aqueduct selections for Sunday, Nov. 11

Best bet: AMERICANO (5)

Best value: BROOKE MARIE (8)

FIRST: Ok Honey compiled four tight works for first start with maiden-claiming tag; set for breakthrough. Big Brown Cat could play out as the main speed in field that's light on front-runners. Ash n' Em debuts for Rudy Rodriguez; stay tuned to the tote.

SECOND: Go Big Or Go Home is speedy, rested and training with a purpose; wire to wire. Best Surprise could be sitting in the catbird seat if pace meltdown ensues. Fillet of Sole was a subpar sixth in last but is more than good enough on "A" effort; must consider.

THIRD: Heavy Meddle drops and makes third start of form cycle; set for best. Mohican was a tough-trip third in last; dangerous. One River Place makes first start since claimed by Kelly Breen and owns fast back numbers; very interesting.

FOURTH: Shanghai Glory owns sprinter's speed and projects as the controlling front-runner with aggressive handling. Way Smart owns fast late-pace figures and is working sharply for first start since August; very dangerous. Sweet Connie Girl is 1-for-1 on Big A sod and hails from Chad Brown barn; underlay potential.

FIFTH: Americano logged swift final fraction when a clear-cut maiden winner last out; pairs up. Just Right is quick from the gate and could prove very tough to collar on an unchallenged lead. Strong One set strong fractions when a much-the-best maiden winner in last; right in the thick of this.

SIXTH: War Canoe owns two wins and a second in three starts on Big A turf; class relief seals the deal. Too Charming is fleet-footed and could establish long lead and long odds; very interesting. Goodbye Brockley packs potent stretch wallop on best efforts; must consider. Munchkin Money logs fast figures with machinelike consistency; logical, short-priced player.

SEVENTH: Langdarma was compromised by slow fractions and rough start when fourth last time at Keeneland; call based on price potential. Daddy D T did the dirty work up front when a fast-figured second in last; dangerous. Outplay fired eye-catching 5-furlong bullet for first start since 50-day absence; must be factored into the mix.

EIGHTH: Brooke Marie notched solid late-pace figure when winning last and should transfer razor-sharp form to turf. Introduced is fleet-footed and delivered strong efforts in both starts; very dangerous. Monette passed nine rivals from the first call to the wire when a hard-charging second in stateside debut in Grade 3 stakes; right in the thick of this.

NINTH: Andesine is riding a forward line on the numbers and has done her best work at the Big A; more to give. Highway Star was placed over her head in BC FM Sprint last week; could easily take this. Starlite Mission logged two swift drills since game placing in last; very playable. Fair Regis was speed-sharpened when making first start since two-month layoff last time; don't ignore.
