Steve Matthews' Aqueduct selections for Friday, Nov. 19

Best bet: WOW (5)

Best value: WICKED HAPPY (10)

FIRST: Radiant Gem regressed in last after sharp third in debut; rebounds. Spicer tallied solid final fraction when third in first start; very dangerous. Hedy Lamarr, an uncoupled barn mate (Chad Brown) of second selection, logged strong work tab.

SECOND: Adare has trained swiftly since willing second in last; more to come. Top Gun Tommy was a front-running winner in last; dangerous. Roman Empire is working with a purpose for first start since March; more than good enough on "A" game.

THIRD: Gabby Squared overcame soft splits when a clear-cut winner in last; pairs up. Funwhileitlasted owns speed and should be favorably positioned near the front; worth long look. Alpha Babe owns a win, two seconds and a third from last four starts; exotics inclusion.

FOURTH: Twisted Tom drops and gets added ground; set for forward move in third start of form cycle. Blewitt is fleet-footed and could prove very tough on a soft lead. Paul the Waiter took backward step in last after clear-cut win in prior; right in the thick of this.

FIFTH: Wow was a "come-from-the-clouds" maiden winner in last; intensified wallop with cutback to 6 furlongs. O'Gotten Girl is consistent and quick from gate; logical contender. Silky Blue bounced last time after determined win two back; must be factored into the mix.

SIXTH: Catching Cupid was a strong second in debut; needs to escape AE list in race with 10 newcomers. Hot Rod Rumble, another outside body of race, owns a second and a third from last two starts. Devil Or Angel makes first dirt start; don't ignore. Safalow's Mission was a game second in debut; must be considered.

SEVENTH: Mostly Harmless was compromised by wide move on the turn last out; timid call in weak maiden field. Skims was a useful fifth in debut; added ground could be the key. Miss Invincible displayed improved speed in last; very interesting.

EIGHTH: Brunate logged only win on Big A loam and could be ideally positioned in the stalker's seat. Papa Smooth is fleet-footed and needed last; dangerous. Silver Token gets class relief, goes turf to dirt and long to short; very interesting.

NINTH: Cold Hard Cash tallied solid final fraction when a determined winner in last; keeps on giving. Temple was an even third versus tougher group last time; very playable. Mo Gotcha, another that drops in class, owns fast back numbers; don't ignore.

10TH: Wicked Happy was second to a repeat winner in last; gets close call based on price. Peacebethejourney drops and turns back to more appropriate distance; enhanced kick predicted. Exotic Cat gets rider upgrade after improved third in last; big-time player. Hit the Nail was third when favored in last; logical threat.
