Steve Matthews' Aqueduct selections for Friday, Nov. 26

Best bet: BORU (10)

Best value: AIR SHOW (7)

FIRST: Viking Zim makes first start since claimed by Rudy Rodriguez; breakthrough predicted. Bail Out has finished second in 10 of 25 starts; runner-up again? The Great Gazoo is fresh and should be aided by added ground.

SECOND: Coach Bahe was an improved fifth last week; more to come. Profusion was a game second in most recent; logical contender. Noctilucent logged only win on Big A loam; must consider.

THIRD: Federalist Papers fits the classic Chad Brown profile; price won't get pulse racing. Equal Measure regressed in last after determined win in prior; rebound threat. Mezcal exits clear-cut maiden score in last; don't ignore.

FOURTH: Flower Point fired half-mile bullet since tough-trip third in last; set for best. Sailingintothewinds is speedy and could prove very tough on a soft lead. Platinum Paynter looms a solid-priced player on best efforts; very interesting.

FIFTH: Seven Lilies makes peak start of form cycle; slight cutback seals the deal. Doublepour packs solid late kick on "A" game; dangerous. Big Brown Shoes could play out as the controlling speed; right in the thick of this.

SIXTH: Fontanafredda gets the nod if able to escape AE list. Noli Temere, from a dam that has thrown four turf winners, was a useful sixth in dirt debut; forward move expected. Tough Street is speedy and switches to sod for Chad Brown; has to be considered.

SEVENTH: Air Show compiled tight work tab for first start since gelded; strong, recent works help clinch it. Quickflash fired 5-furlong bullet for first start in selling ranks; notched only win at Big A. Rudy Rod could be ideally positioned in the stalker's seat.

EIGHTH: Ocala Dream took backward step in last after determined win in prior; bounces back. Monition, 2-for-2 in Kentucky, has trained impressively at Keeneland since last score; big-time danger. Gussy Mac could be aided by Friday's longer trip; price will be tempting.

NINTH: Played Hard projects as the dominant speed with proper handling. Army Wife looms the prime beneficiary if top selection hits the wall in the stretch. Crazy Beautiful owns competitive numbers on best efforts.

10TH: Boru should pack intensified wallop with turnback to 6 furlongs. Stanhope could play out as the speed of the speed with aggressive ride; worth long look. Bourbon Mission drops and should be aided by shorter trip; dangerous. Montauk Daddy is fleet-footed and must be factored into the mix; tough nightcap.
