BALTIMORE — It was overcast, cloudy and 68 degrees Saturday at 10:30 a.m., first post for Pimlico’s 14-race card.

The main track was listed as muddy after a downpour Friday afternoon and a 45-minute thunderstorm late Friday night.

It was expected to be fast, or at least good, by 6:45 p.m., post time for the 142nd Preakness Stakes.

The turf course was rated good but may have been closer to yielding.
