Best Bet: ONLY THE TRUTH (2)

Best Value: FEETS OF STRENGTH (6)

SECOND: Only the Truth tallied improved final fraction when breaking maiden last time; pairs up. Daggerpoint also exited maiden ranks in last and owns fast back numbers; dangerous. Whiskey Neat could prove very tough on an unchallenged lead.

THIRD: Storm Cell is fresh and projects as the main speed on the fence. Taken by Surprise runs late and will be in the garden spot if top selection hits the wall in the lane. Katniss the Victor has delivered strong efforts in all three starts; right in the thick of this.

FOURTH: Lebowski gets class relief after showing improved speed off the bench last time; very playable. Causeway Cutie makes quick return after clear-cut second in last; more to come. Jump for Joy adds blinkers and drops after even fourth in debut; improvement expected.

FIFTH: Bridgetta was done in by hot fractions last out; call based on price potential. Saharan Serenade wheels back in hurry after hard-charging win on St. Paddy’s Day; very interesting. Harlans Belle exits front-end score in last; right in the thick of this.

SIXTH: Feets of Strength owns sprinter’s speed and could capitalize on soft lead at longer trip. Daves Gone Bananas makes peak start of form cycle after fast-figured third in last; very dangerous. Investigator is rested and hails from potent layoff barn; must consider.

SEVENTH: Lightning Lilly is fleet-footed and compiled tight work tab for first start since July; primed and ready. Chickaletta makes third start since layoff after improved third in last; dangerous. Picture Day regressed in last after fast-figured victory two starts back; worth long look. Blind Devotion hails from white-hot Chris Englehart stable; must consider.

EIGHTH: Gregorian Gold logged eye-catching workout tab for first start since September; speed of the speed with aggressive handling. Madame Maybry also is fleet-footed and is riding a two-race winning streak; big-time player. Surprise Cameo has hit the board in seven of eight career starts; logical.

NINTH: El Genio makes quick return and drops after speed and fade on St. Paddy’s Day; now or never. Alaapatique is rested and will be in the garden spot if top selection hits the wall in the lane. Gunlock is another that will benefit if pace meltdown ensues. Starago owns competitive numbers on best efforts; don’t ignore.
