SECOND: Pure Gemmz goes turf to dirt and long to short and should offer generous price; call in weak maiden field. Chocolate Smoothie compiled tight work tab for first start since May; dangerous. Galway Girl is riding a forward line on the numbers; must consider.
THIRD: Pirellone owns sprinter’s speed and could secure unchallenged lead; call based on price. Hunter O’Riley was a hand-ridden winner on dirt last time and owns fast turf numbers too; be no surprise. Strike Midnight notched improved late-pace figure when second in last; big-time player.
FOURTH: Dark as Midnight fired crisp 5-furlong workout since last start; improvement predicted. Kabang cuts back to sprint and returns to dirt; amplified kick expected. Morse Code needed last and was a fast-figured second in debut at Big A last fall; very playable.
FIFTH: Yorkiepoo Princess is fleet-footed, returns to dirt and fired 5-furlong bullet last week; speed of the speed. Eloquent Riddle cuts back to sprint and gets class relief; very dangerous. Come Dancing overcame tough start when a clear-cut winner in debut; right in the thick of this.
SIXTH: Street Fightin Man wheels back in a hurry after determined victory on the Big A sod on Nov. 16; pairs up if able to escape AE list. Market Strength bested a next-out winner when tallying rapid final fraction in last; more to give. Bow Tie Affair was a much-improved third in last and should be forwardly placed in big field; worth long look. Coco Is Loco logged only win on Big A grass; price will be tempting.
SEVENTH: La Inesperada is riding a two-race winning streak and projects as the controlling speed with aggressive ride. Madam Aamoura also is quick from gate and is training with a purpose for first start since April. Littlemissbusiness won last and could be ideally positioned in the stalker’s seat; very interesting.
EIGHTH: Stallwalkin’ Dude owns fast figures and packs potent late kick; overwhelms them late in Fall Highweight Handicap. Weekend Hideaway earned swift internal and final numbers when a game second in last and fired 3-furlong bullet in the interim; very playable. Ready for Rye owns competitive figures on “A” efforts; don’t ignore.
NINTH: That Warrior Girl was pace compromised when a better-than-it-looks fifth last time; throw deep in weak nightcap. Flying K C owns six seconds in 19 starts; always a runner-up? Aussie Awakening was an even fourth when favored in last; short-priced player once again. Freckle de Freck was victimized by wide trip in last; worth long look at long price.
