THIRD: Bustin It is speedy, owns fast figures and is riding a two-race winning streak. Pegasus Red packs potent late kick on best efforts. Mighty Zealous owns fast back numbers; don’t ignore.
FOURTH: Thornado adds blinkers and projects as the controlling speed with aggressive ride. Consumerconfidence owns fast figures and hails from Chad Brown barn; for chalk lovers only. Madeyourpoint grabbed short-lived lead in the stretch and flattened at longer trip last time; turnback to 7 furlongs should play to strength.
FIFTH: Voodoo Song delivered lifetime best effort in lone start at Belmont last fall; 5-furlong bullet on May 11 seals the deal. Benevolence was a hard-charging second in last and should have more to give in third start of form cycle. Wrong Ben is fleet-footed and can prove to be a very tough customer on a soft lead.
SIXTH: Banana Thief is training sharply for first start since October and was a winner off the bench last summer. Final Encore needed last and owns solid numbers on “A” game. Bancroft Hall has delivered strong efforts in both starts; right in the thick of this.
SEVENTH: Docs Legacy wheels back in a hurry after being pace compromised last week at Monmouth; call based on price potential. Indebted upped record to 2-for-2 on Belmont turf when a determined winner in last; very dangerous. Altar Boy was a tough-trip sixth in last and owns fast back numbers; big-time player.
EIGHTH: Splashtastic has worked three times since clear-cut placing in last; call based on price. Destin owns fast numbers but has been sidelined since August; mixed message. Touchofstarquality logged career-best number at Belmont Park; must consider.
NINTH: Acoustic overcame tough trip and slow pace to break maiden at Laurel last time; more to come. Snowfly should be tighter in second start since five-month layoff; very playable. Astounding was a fast-figured third in only grass start; must consider. River of Dreams notched only win on Belmont grass; very interesting. Kid Jeter must be factored into the mix if able to escape AE listed.
