Animal Appeal was an ultra-game second in last; logical, short-priced player. Bold Print should improve with return to turf; don’t ignore.
EIGHTH: Drama King logged five tight works for first start in 47 days and owns sit-and-pounce style that should play well in ultra-contentious field. David Jacobson entry: Chief Lion tallied swift internal and final numbers when a much-the-best winner in last at Penn National and mate Fabulous Kid owns fast back figures; potent pairing. Juba also notched rapid figures when a dominant victor in most recent; could easily take this.
NINTH: City Section needed last and could be primed for breakthrough effort at fat ticket; throw deep in wide-open nightcap. Dean’s Ticket owns speed, adds blinkers and fired 3-furlong bullet since last start; worth long look. Antebellum should be in the garden spot if pace gets hot and hectic. Hudson River Gal makes first start for Mike Hushion and packs potent late kick on best efforts.
