Best Bet: HOBOE (7); Best Value: CETARA (4)

FIRST: The Berber made wide move when second in debut; more to come. Michael Wonderful compiled tight work tab for first start; could be the goods. High Risk Strategy debuts for Chad Brown; need more?

SECOND: Grand Banks made sustained rally when a tough-trip third in debut; rates close call. Filly Madison owns sprinter’s speed and makes third start of form cycle; very interesting. She Remembered has finished second in last two starts; prefers minor awards?

THIRD: Charis was a tough-trip fourth in last at Prairie Meadows; nice fit with the locals at this level. Madam Aamoura has been a repeated disappointment at short odds; continues trend? Marnesia Big Girl drops, goes turf to dirt and owns fast back numbers; must consider.

FOURTH: Cetara gets favorable cutback to sprint and makes peak start of form cycle; primed for breakthrough effort. Starship Rockette endured rough journey when a hard-charging second in last; very dangerous. Song for the Soul is speedy and can prove very tough on a soft lead.

FIFTH: Patriot Drive is fleet-footed and logged three tight works for first start in 47 days; wire to wire. He’s Cheeky fired half-mile bullet since late-running fourth in last; big-time stretch threat. Hembree is riding a forward line on the numbers and has the benefit of the rail; must respect. California Swing overcame soft flow to win last; right in the thick of this.

SIXTH: Toby Girl was a decisive maiden winner in last at Parx; ready for prime time. Awestruck was an even fourth in Grade 3 at Indiana Grand last time and should pack intensified wallop with cutback to sprint. Run and Go is training with a purpose for first start since winning debut in January at Gulfstream; demand value.

SEVENTH: Hoboe tallied rapid late-pace figure when breaking maiden in first start on Spa sod; more to come. Birchwood Road drops and owns fast numbers on best efforts; price will be tempting. Vintage Matters tallied swift final figure when a willing second in last; big-time player.

EIGHTH: Papa Shot makes third start since two-month absence and owns fast back figures. Diversify owns five wins and two seconds from eight starts; logical, short-priced player. Governor Malibu is fresh, firing bullets and more than good enough on “A” game.

NINTH: Taste for Talent is speedy and has worked sharply since winning last at Belmont; pairs up. Performance Bonus owns fast figures, hails from Chad Brown barn and starts from the rail; be no surprise. War Stroll gets favorable cutback in distance after fading in last; worth long look. Tricked Up is 1-for-1 on Spa sod; must be factored into the mix.
