FIRST: Bob Le Beau won AP Smithwick last time. Andi’amu is speedy and needed last. Scorpiancer was just length behind top selection in Smithwick; dangerous.

SECOND: Mr Curiosity is training with a purpose for first start since June; primed and ready. Cats Landing is competitive on best efforts. Zababa makes first start since gelded; right in the thick of this.

THIRD: Majestic Tango is from a dam that has produced three grass winners. Awsum Roar looms the dominant front-runner if able to escape AE list. Jacqueline D could play out as the controlling speed if Awsum Roar scratches.

FOURTH: Tahoe Tigress was a clear-cut winner in last and owns faster back figures. Champagne Ruby also won last and could easily pair up scores. Dreamboat Annie drops and returns to dirt; very interesting.

FIFTH: Winter Games gets price boost after sitting out “jail” time in first start since claimed by David Jacobson. Dom the Bomb could play out as the speed of the speed on the fence. Sam Sparkle would be aided by pace meltdown.

SIXTH: City Section closed into swift final fraction when a better-than-it-looks fifth in last; more to come. Bright Side Up drops after showing improved speed in last; developing and dangerous. Smile Big bested top selection by more than a length when second on July 30; must be factored into the mix if able to draw into body of the race.

SEVENTH: Winter’s Gift is 1-for-1 on Spa sod and could get early jump in big field. Shalako tallied solid late-pace figure when winning third straight last time; very dangerous. Mav owns three seconds and a win in last four starts; must consider.

EIGHTH: Juan and Bina was speed sharpened in sprint last time and projects as the controlling front-runner on the fence. Flash Trading was a fast-figured winner at the distance last time; big-time danger. Testosterstone burned a ton of cash when second at 15 cents on the dollar last time at Finger Lakes; better price today.

NINTH: Truth logged three tight works and gets Lasix since game, wire-to-wire win in first start on Spa sod; more to come. Thrilled owns a win and a second in two outings on Saratoga grass; very dangerous. Pricedtoperfection owns fast figures on “A” game.

TENTH: Jemmabelle is rested and could receive perfect setup in field with ample speed. May Flowers also packs strong late kick and would be aided by front-end duel. Dream On moves to turf after clear-cut maiden score in last; very dangerous. Battle Tux makes first grass start for Linda Rice; must respect.
