THIRD: Papa’s Missile is fleet-footed and should be tighter in second start since two-month absence. Phocea was a hard-charging second in last; dangerous. Ragazza Piu’ Bella is right in the thick of this on best efforts.
FOURTH: Zoot Suit compiled solid work slate for first start since March; speed of the speed with aggressive ride. Tapit Wicked runs late and looms prime beneficiary if top selection gets hooked on the lead. Bow Tie Affair also would be aided if pace meltdown ensues.
FIFTH: Tainted Angel has finished second in both starts; experience edge is the key in a field that’s jammed with newcomers. Ingrid is working swiftly for first start for Mike Hushion; could be the goods. Dr. Stone is by a win-early sire; follow the money.
SIXTH: Millenial moves to grass for coach Lukas; throw deep in wide-open juvenile turf dash. Forge displayed speed in dirt debut and now switches surfaces for Chad Brown; underlay material. Grandview is the only member of this field with a race on grass; don’t dismiss.
SEVENTH: Bissectrisa gets encouraging price boost after front-running score in last; pairs up. Comet Sixty Two was a game second in last and bested top selection by nearly a length when a winner on June 17; big-time danger. Bargaining Table packs a potent late punch on “A” game; don’t ignore.
EIGHTH: Saratoga Heater logged solid late-pace figure when winning last; victory over the track is key. Bug Juice is another with win over the surface; very playable. Pop the Hood can speed pop the field on best efforts; worth long look. John’s Island can contend if able to recapture back form; demand value.
NINTH: Procurement notched decisive victory the first time he set foot on Spa sod July 23; half-mile bullet Aug. 6 seals the deal. My Afleet is fleet-footed and handles marathon distances; price will be tempting. Mr Maybe is fresh and more than good enough on best races.
